The East Van Wine Academy is a series of evenings held at Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month, with a different region or country featured each event, including Italy, France, Germany, California, Portugal and British Columbia.

Enjoy BC wines but don’t know your Oliver from Osoyoos? Kurtis will virtually tour guests
around the Okanagan & Similkameen Valleys. There will be a broad overview
of the region and then we’ll run through specifics of geography, history, and
grape varietals of the Naramata Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Falls, the Similkameen
Valley and more. Find out how different microclimates, from bone-dry deserts to
cool lakesides affect the taste of wine, what to look for from particular
regions and find some new favourite bottles while you’re at it!

Celebrate the wine culture of British Columbia! "After School"- a stand-up, social event will feature 10 British Columbian wines offered in 3oz pours, encouraging guests to sample a wide variety of wines at very accessible price-points.
The night will immerse guests in the regional culture of the week with canapés, visuals and vinyl selected by resident DJs. After-Schoolparties are the perfect environment for guests who attend the course to put their new knowledge to use are also a casual, fun atmosphere for those who want to skip school but are still interested in learning more about wine.
Come enjoy the wines of BC in a fun, dynamic atmosphere, open yourself up to tasting and learning something new!
